Can I upload to YouTube?
Is there a way to get the wallpapers I have made to YouTube? I can only see an option to put it on the steam workshop, and I want my friends that don’t have Wallpaper Engine to still be able to watch it. Can anyone help me please?

There is no such native feature in Wallpaper Engine, best you could do would be to hide your taskbar and change the desktop icon opacity to 0 in the Wallpaper Engine settings and then record a video of your wallpaper with some third-party program which you could then upload to YouTube.

So you can do this? what if you use a pre made wall paper and make a bunch of adjustments or edit it and then can you record the video loop and save it or use it? or would that be a copy right issue? because i have video editing software and i make music videos like Lo-fi music videos and i use these. but i always make major changes to the videos but i dont want to get into trouble for copy right?

Just to add to my previous comment. i use a program called "Movavi" to edit videos. and I add my own music. and i add so many visual effects that by the time i am done editing the videos the videos look dramatically different. so is this okay to use for uploading and sharing across like You Tube? For those 24 /7 Lo fi streaming You Tube channels? I see those everywhere and they are quite popular.

From our end, it's fine if you do that but ultimately you need the permission of the person who created the original wallpaper to be in the clear.

okay thank you. I haven't checked yet. but do the people that create the wallpapers usually have their contact information listed? I want to do everything by the book. I am a Google Play Store App developer I have 17 different websites. and I had a You tube channel. I had a lot of copy right free video loops. Well it turns out 3 of them were labeled incorrectly when i downloaded them. and the author got me for copy right. He got me for 2 copy right strikes. so i apologized. I promised to remove his videos from my You tube channel. and my website. and even my computer. and then he hit me with a 3rd strike. that terminated my ENTIRE you tube channel that i had worked on for a very long time. The guy was a major ♥♥♥♥. So now i have to start over. I cannot risk loosing another You Tube channel. His email was wallpaperenginecreator@gmail.com so i thought he must be from this community or be this company. but i noticed the Gmail address. so i figured he was just some hack.

Usually you can reach out to users via the Steam Friends functionality or by leaving a comment. That GMail address is (obviously) not associated with us and you can also file a counter-claim if it's a frivolous copyright claim, though that goes beyond what we usually discuss here.
