Is there a way to make a static image overlay?
I love this program, it works well and seems to have a good community support too, but I was just wondering if there is any way to overlay a static image on the desktop, above the animated background?

I will give you my example, I have a retro gaming YouTube channel and currently I am using the 'Neon Sunset' wallpaper, as it fits my style, but I would like to display my Logo across the middle of the horizon on screen, as it would look pretty awesome...

This would be for my own personal use only, not to be broadcast or used in any other way at all.

If there is no way of doing this, do you think it is something that could be incorporated at a later date or is there another program that may help me with achieving this effect?

A lot of people use Rainmeter in combination with Wallpaper Engine for any additional overlays like that, maybe that works well for you:

I have found a program which does this pretty well, I will test it out to see if there are any negative affects to performance and let you know if this is the case...

It is a simple freeware program called 'Overlap Wallpaper' and it allows you to choose your own image, including transparent GIF and PNG images which it then overlays on the wallpaper and runs in the system tray...

Going to settings you are able to change the image size and position to suit your needs.

Here is a still of my current desktop as an example of what I was able to achieve using it, maybe some of you will find this useful.
