can't you just guys ban anime/hentai wallpapers? it's awful because they are literally in every search... and yeah I disabled showing the Anime wallpapers.

I search Skyrim - I get a big boobed anime girl on top of a dragon
I search Death - I get a black uniform edgy anime girl
I search City - I get Japanese stuff
I search JDM/Drift - Also anime stuff.

I tried every search you listed and I get none of the results. Could you please share a screenshot of these searches with your filter sidebars visible? If there is a technical problem with the filters, we would obviously address it.

If you are using the "Hide Anime" button it will disable other genres related to anime such as MMD. You shouldn't even get results with the word anime in the title or description if you have the anime filter on, so if you're still seeing anime content in your searches then report the workshop item as mistagged.

This is just broken honestly... I select hide anime and I doublechecked that the ♥♥♥♥ is turned off in the filters, and still - im getting 80-90% hentai/anime ♥♥♥♥.
Im going beserk here... clearly the hide function isnt working.,

Hey, could you please share some screenshots that show your search queries / filter settings so I can reproduce this? Unfortunately as you can see, no one here has come back to me with this so we cannot improve anything if no one is providing us any specific search queries and filter settings? Make sure the filters sidebar is visible, the sorting method and the search query field. You can either send screenshots to [e-mail] or upload them to www.imgur.com and share the link here.

You know, there is a big ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ difference between hentai and anime wallpapers, anime doesn't violate rules while hentai does, since it's a porn. As much as I hate anime wallpapers you can't ban them just because you don't like them. First of all, set up your filters correctly, I have disabled anime related tags and don't see much of it, some pop up from time to time, but it's because they're misstagged and you can report them.

I also have been seeing straight up porn images (not as common but happens) and a whole lot of anime/hentai showing when age is set to “everyone” and I select the options to hide anime. I get that it’s probably hard to control but I just wanted to +1 that people aren’t lying or making it up that this is happening.

Devs can't reproduce it and are asking for users to provide screenshots.

you cant see the search field - but I had nothing in it and I have tried several times to just delete it in case something there was messing it up.
Its all empty and as you see, I have unchecked anime and mmd.
I apologise for the anime/hentai mixup before, I honestly didnt know that hentai was the porn equivalent. What im seeing is anime clearly, little girls with huge eyes everywhere :-P

Thanks, clearly some of those wallpapers are tagged as "Anime" so they should not show up. The Steam Workshop servers have just been ultra buggy for a month and this is another one of those cases I am afraid. I will talk to Valve about it again and I think we will just add client-side filtering into the app so that all results are double-checked before they are shown to users.
