Screen Saver mute options
Hi, I could be missing something but I don't see a practical way to mute the WPE screen saver.
I think it would be intuitive to have the screen savers muted if the regular wallpapers are also muted.
Also I believe the display tab when in configure wallpapers or configure screen savers does not actually make a difference. For example, if I mute a monitor on the configure screen savers display tab, it also changes and affects the regular wallpaper displays tab.

The screensaver is supposed to be muted if the wallpaper is configured to be muted already, yes. Which method are you exactly using to mute the wallpaper?

- In the monitor menu?
- The volume slider?
- The general audio output option?

All those should work but if one of them doesn't can you explain exactly how you set it up?

I'm muting via WPE, where I right click the system tray icon and mute there, or alternatively I have the hotkey shortcut set up that I believe uses that same system. And my screensaver is configured to be same as wallpaper, which is only pulling random wallpapers from the same playlists and causes the whole double audio etc. issue that I have seen answered in another thread.

Okay, that method does not mute the screensaver since it is not saved anywhere, it's just temporary way of muting. Any of the other methods should work.

Oh yeah I was specifically after a temporary way of muting the screensaver too, in which case I'd like to make that a suggestion as I would find it useful. if there are no plans to implement something like that then no worries, and thanks for the information and support.

Also I just realised I believe the monitor menu you described is the display menu I was referring to in my original post, which was muting both the regular wallpapers and screensavers, regardless of which 'mode' was selected in the top left.

All other (saved) settings affect both, wallpaper and screensaver.

I understand that it's a bit confusing but I'm afraid I don't really see a clear solution that nobody would be confused about yet.

We will look at this at some point, but you could make an argument where you want any of the options to affect both or only one of them. This means we would have to duplicate all 4 (5 with hotkey) options to mute the program which is a bit much, so that's probably something we should avoid.

Ok I understand, thank you for everything, I'll find a way to work around it on my end.
