Which wallpaper are you using as a screensaver? Some "web" type wallpapers might show a white screen before they are fully loaded.

Currently using a clock wallpaper, i want something simple, i think there is not a wide range due to screensavers only just coming out

Could you link the specific wallpaper? It's hard to comment further on this from a technical point of view without knowing anything specific.

Basically, the wallpaper is like a website and Wallpaper Engine acts like a browser. And just like browsers, Wallpaper Engine will show a white blank page while the page is loading. We can look into this and see if this blank page can somehow be colored black, but I cannot make any promises at this point. If it's very annoying to you, try using clock wallpapers of the type "Scene", they will not be affected by this issue.
