okay, thanks for the answer. It's just weird that only this wallpaper works like that (I'm using a lot of 4k wallpapers with particle effects) and I was worried because I've read that there were some wallpapers that had some kind of script to be cryptominers.
The high usage comes from your high FPS limit since this option only affects real time wallpapers ("scene" wallpapers) so if you compare it to a video wallpaper you would usually be comparing it to a 30 FPS wallpaper. Most wallpapers at 144 FPS will make your GPU work harder, even rendering a single color at very high FPS would increase the work and heat notably.
If you want to keep using this wallpaper and reduce the performance it requires, you can disable MSAA without losing quality and reduce the FPS to < 30 or until you reach a point that works for you. You can also change the "texture resolution" option but this would also reduce the quality a bit on your screen.
