In any case, I have never seen this reported by someone else, but you could try disabling the "high priority" auto start in Wallpaper Engine and use the normal one instead. If this is due to a conflict with another program, then perhaps it occurs because Wallpaper Engine can start quicker than usual programs do.
I think they experience another bug which is one that we have seen before, where only the icon of Wallpaper Engine turns into the generic "file" icon. It's unfortunately a Windows bug with a specific feature that Wallpaper Engine needs since it's split up in multiple executables but it resolves itself after a while and perhaps Microsoft did enough changes in Windows 11 to properly fix this.
Anyway, this only affects Wallpaper Engine for sure and only the icon of the UI window, not the tray icon or other icons. Clicking on it also doesn't change anything, it just comes from how there are two processes that are one application, which is a Windows feature that only few programs use. What you have described sounds different from that but if you are unsure you could still share a screenshot of the issue for comparison.
the only big thing happen to my pc is a lot of windows update and virus maybe @Lynxie101 got virus attack too or have a lot of windows update and yea i already try the delete thumbnail (maybe windows can fix itself) and reinstall too verifying it seem doesnt do anything. somehow it only broke the taskbar the shorcut and toolbar/ the thing next to clock it fine
