How bad do wallpapers impact in-game performance?
I never usually use backgrounds when I am playing a game because I am afraid of getting performance loss. So I don't know how bad or if there even is any fps loss.

It depends on the wallpaper, your hardware and the game. By default the wallpaper is already being paused while playing so in most cases that's enough to have zero performance loss. You can change the option "other application fullscreen" to "stop" though which will even unload the wallpaper completely, so it doesn't even occupy any RAM or VRAM while you're playing.

Aight, thanks man. For like the last year I would never use wallpapers in the background because of this thought, lol. Thank you.
