Wallpaper engine chroma sync working with keyboard by not Fan lights
I have an issue with wallpaper engine syncing with razer chroma. Wallpaper engine will successfully control lights on my peripheral devices (keyboard, mouse, mouse pad, etc) though it no longer controls fan LEDS (managed by thermal take) And rgb strip + ram rgb (controlled by mystic light). Razer appears to be functioning fine, as when I disable wallpaper engine Razer chroma will successfully control the fans and strips. In fact wallpaper engine is the only app that refuses to control RGB in the case.

- I have reinstalled both razer chroma and wallpaper engine
- I have run the normal and beta of wallpaper engine
- I have switched the logs to verbose and found no errors or anything that would indicate error with chroma.
- I have run the scan tool by wallpaper engine which only pointed to nvidia overlay.

I am starting to think that this behavior is intentional. Does anyone have any further steps to take?

And which other apps have you tried, do they use the Chroma SDK?

We don't know how Razer Synapse communicates with those devices from other vendors. This is all completely invisible to Wallpaper Engine. We're just sending colors through the Chroma SDK and this is likely where the issue is. Razer Synapse itself does *not* use the Chroma SDK, only thirdparty apps do.

In the chroma synapse connect tab, I disable wallpaper engine and play a game such as terraria and the case lights function as expected. I have made sure to disable all other apps when conducting my tests with wallpaper engine

And terraria is only connected through the Chroma SDK too and not directly to the service of the other vendors?

I believe so it appears in the same tab on chroma apps;
However when I tried to verify the issue now, I get the same behavior as wallpaper engine as from other games (The case light do not function) This means my problem is most likely with my installation of synapse. I'll reinstall and see if I can return to the same point.

Since your other Razer branded devices work then there is at least no "issue" in Wallpaper Engine, otherwise the keyboard/mouse etc would also not work.

Unfortunately I don't know how the other devices from the other brands are connected to Synapse or how that works so it would really be something you would have to ask Razer about if you can't figure it out.

Also, it's always possible your wallpaper just sends a black color by freak coincidence in a specific location. But if you test this with the stock "fantastic car" wallpaper and the LEDs don't light up then it's safe to say that there is a color being sent to all devices that isn't just black.
