My local wallpapers are all pink.
So basically my problem is, that when i want to open an offline wallpaper, its all pink. I dont know, if my uploaded wallpaper behaves the same, but for me locally, its pink too, when i apply it from my workshop.

Edit: Tried my uploaded file from the workshop, and from uploading again locally (offline), and its pink too...

Im using Intel HD 630
8GB RAM...
Other wallpapers works fine, only mine doesnt.

The same videos are working on Lively Wallpaper perfectly fine.
DDU-d drivers, and checked for file integrity.

If video wallpapers show the wrong color then it's almost definitely due to the video graphics driver options. Please specifically find the video options in the Intel graphics control panel and reset them there, there should be a reset button.

If you have a laptop with a hybrid GPU then make sure to reset both the Intel and Nvidia video options.

Maybe Windows assigned the other graphics card in case you have a laptop with a hybrid graphics solution or it's just not hardware accelerated.

I have a PC with just the Integrated HD 630 IGPU. I did reset the settings, and i wiped the drivers too. I tried changin the settings in WPE too, but no success. Im starting to think, that maybe the files are bad that im trying to use. They are all MP4 1280x720p 60fps, and 1680x1050p 60fps.

Can you upload one of the files as "unlisted" or "friends-only" in Wallpaper Engine so we can check it out? Please share this log via email as well, just in case it might show something: https://help.wallpaperengine.io/debug/scantool.html

I already uploaded one a couple weeks ago.
The name is:
Blue Archive: Hanae

I uploaded it again in offline mode, and it was pink.
I used it from the workshop too (the one i uploaded a couple weeks ago) and its the same pink...
I dont know whats the problem. A couple weeks ago, everything was fine.
When i uploaded it, it was fine, and it worked perfectly...
The problem started yesterday, when i wanted to upload a new Azur Lane L2D wallpaper in offline mode for myself.

The wallpaper is very standard and it also does not contain any weird video codecs it should work just fine. If it appears pink, it is almost guaranteed to be a driver-related issue or the result of a broken codec pack or some similar underlying issue with your PC. Try the Codec Tweak Tool and maybe even switching to LAV with DirectShow as explained here:

Still no success. I think my Windows is corrupted, or something. I can try it with my Brother's PC, since he has a dedicated GPU. Maybe its my Windows, maybe my IGPU, or maybe my WPE is corrupted somehow.

Can you try opening the video files with Windows Media Player (not VLC or some other video player, it has to be Windows Media Player), do you also see them in pink there or not?

Yapp.. Its Win Media Player. It does that weird thing... Do i need to reinstal it, maybe just fixing the files?

If you also have this issue in Windows Media Player, it's definitely an underlying problem with your Windows installation of some sort. Usually this is caused by faulty drivers but since you already tried to reinstall those, it's unlikely. I am afraid I don't really have any other ideas aside from linking this page again:

https://help.wallpaperengine.io/noshow/notplaying.html

The advice we offer there usually fixes problems like this for affected users, I cannot remember any similar case where it did not work. Be sure to try all steps again and manually check if you ever installed any weird codec packs or similar that might be breaking the video playback in your Windows installation.

If these things don't work, I am honestly at a loss but this isn't strictly speaking a Wallpaper Engine issue anymore. You could try and reinstall Windows (or upgrade to Windows 11) and see if that fixes it.

Im already planning on reinstalling windows, so its not a big deal. Thanks for the help. Hopefully if someone has the same problem, from now on the person can fix it.

Everyday we face new problems. And this was a new one (for me)
