Android Oreo Compatibility?

Will the Android version of WE be able to run on devices running Android 8.0? The latest news update says only Android 8.1 and newer versions will be supported, but Android 8.0 is almost the same as 8.1. Is this a recommended OS or a requirement?

Android 8.1 will be the lowest supported version. We carefully made this decision after looking at the market share of Android 8.0 and lower and we ended up using several new features that were specifically introduced in Android 8.1. It would have made the app much more bloated if we had continued support for Android 8.0 and lower, so after careful and extensive evaluation, we settled on 8.1 as the minimum Android version.

so well i dont can use daam... it is there not a not nativ method to still run it on 8.0 without stability sup ? i mean is the diffrence sooo big between 8.0 und 8.1 ? many of my friends still use it too 😅
