How to disable my wallpaper playlist from syncing on other PC.
I got a gaming rig at home, which can handle every wallpaper i downloaded without any problem. I also installed steam and wallpaper engine on my work laptop, which far less powerful than my gaming rig at home. I use it to play some light games. However can't handle all wallpaper well.

i notice that everytime i download a new wallpaper on my gaming rig, it will also appear on my work laptop. Is there a way to disable this kind of sync? I already disable steam cloud, which it didn't do anything. There is alot of wallpaper that i really don't need in my work laptop, and i was afraid if i remove it from my work laptop it will remove as well on my gaming rig. Another thing is that my laptop has limited space, and i don't want to waste on the wallpaper i don't need.

Steam doesn't allow disabling this, it is saved for each Steam account.

To use some wallpapers only on one PC, you could copy the wallpaper files out of Steam's system (right click, open in explorer) and then unsubscribe them.

I think the sync thingy only implement on the latest few version. My desktop work PC hasn't been connected to steam for quite a time, however it got different set of wallpaper than my gamingi rig at home. *meaning it got some wallpaper that my gaming rig doesnt have, also meaning the sync thingy haven't started yet

Your subscription list is stored by Steam in your account, so your other PC will receive the latest subscriptions when you connect Steam to the internet again (and run Wallpaper Engine at the same time).

Does delete the wallpaper manually (delete the wallpaper files in steam directory) instead of unsubcribe it, will it still sync it to my other PC?

I want to delete some wallpaper not supported in my work laptop, however i still wanna keep that wallpaper in my gaming rig. will it work?

If you delete them directly then Steam will still think they are downloaded. You will create 'error' wallpapers.

What you could do is make a copy of them on your gaming rig, then unsubscribe them. The best way to deal with it is making it independent from Steam. So you can use your copy directly, drag and drop it into the browser, instead of using Steam's subscription system.
