How to scroll left and right
Hi, guys!

Could someone explain to me how to animate a still image to scroll left and right?
I am only able to scroll one direction, making the image to have a sort of cut and repeat effect.

O would like to animate a still image to scroll left and then right (or vice versa).

Any tips?

Scroling works best when the image is 'tileable'. http://www.designpanoply.com/blog/how-to-turn-a-photo-into-a-seamless-tileable-texture-in-photoshop (just a random tutorial, there are simpler ways to do it too.)

What is your image?

Thanks!

Although I don't think this image can be edited that way.
It's an image of all overwatch characters.

Here's the image:

I would like to pan the image left and right.

The left and right side almost match up, the white color is a bit off though. You would have to make the transition of the white background match, then scrolling it horizontally should work fine.

Maybe you don't want it to scroll at all, do you want it to move back and forth? There are parallax settings to move it back and forth with the mouse, you can lock it so that it only moves left and right.

That's exactly what I am looking for!

How do I do that?
I can't find that effect.

Thanks for helping out!

The parallax options are on the left, there are some global settings if you change the tabs at the top on the left box.

You have to enable parallax first there, then click your image and disable the vertical parallax movement specifically on your image.
