i understand application wallpapers can be dangerous but what about

the web wallpapers so far ive only downloaded strictly video/scene types

If they had text input I'm sure some people would upload fake websites trying to trick you into entering passwords - but right now there isn't even any text input. Otherwise they can't execute native code like applications, if you mean that.

Whenever I add text input, I would add a similar warning there and make it optional.

Damn so wallpaper engine does not regulate who uploads wallpapers? I need to be careful as I just got this software

If you only want to see approved wallpapers click 'approved'. But even without that you won't accidentally open any application wallpaper because it will show a respective warning with a timer first. The other types aren't dangerous as such.
