Is it safe?
I want to know if wallpaper Engine is safe, because I've been using it for a week now and I got a warning from Google Chrome that my passwords have been compromised and the timing is weird that I have never gotten my passwords compromised before because I'm always careful and safe but after using wallpaper engine for a week this happens.

Can wallpapers have keyloggers / phishing inside of them?

Yes, we take security very seriously and we have taken precautions to prevent security compromises. The only real security hole would be "application" type wallpapers but we display a big red warning when you attempt to use them for the first time (they are also very rare, so you likely never encountered one).

If you log into chrome then google checks your stored passwords with its database of compromised emails/passwords every time you load it up, if an email/password has been compromised (from one of the massive breaches that happens all the time) then it will notify you. Firefox has the same capability and most password managers can do this too, which you should be using.
