The only work around is to just not rely on Steam. You can find the downloaded files here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\431960
Just move them somewhere else and then drag & drop them into Wallpaper Engine. Then you can unsubscribe them and forget about Steam re-downloading them for no reason.
thank you ! I've copied the downloaded files, now I'm in the Wallpaper Engine folder, where exactly should I place them ? and do I have to delete the files from that path or just left them there ?
i cannot drag the file into the wallpaper browser...
after i drop the file.... there is still no wallpaper ??
help..??
Open Wallpaper Engine, there are 4 buttons on the bottom left, click "Open From File" and select the wallpaper.
nothing happen... no popup..
Are you using auto start with high-priority? You might have to restart it then I'm afraid or disable high-priority (this is just a guess though).
