A way to Hide The Task Bar while viewing the Desktop?

I only found a way to hide it while viewing other windows but not when im on the Desktop itself, how do I make it so? (Windows 10)

Win 10: Right click your taskbar and choose taskbar settings(bottom option). There change the option "automatically hide taskbar in desktop mode" to on. That should hide your taskbar.

That worked, but now the taskbar is hiding at all times even when I selected a window like steam or chrome.

Yes that's how it works. If you want to see it simply move your mouse to the edge of the screen where it is and it becomes visible.
