Right-click problem

So when i start the computer i have the wallpapers and everything works fine but when i press right click on the desktop the wallpapers go back to the one of the windows but the sound of the wallpaper engine are working and the app is running can someone help me .

Do you perhaps have any other programs installed that modify the desktop or customize anything siimilar from Windows?

i had but i unistall it.

Which one was it, was it perhaps Fences? Otherwise I could maybe try installing it and see if it might have changed something that stayed after uninstall or so.

From my knowledge Fences sometimes doesn't uninstall correctly so Stardock made this uninstall script, maybe that helps: http://sd.stardock.com/zubaz/apps/Purge_Fences.bat

The script is not from me. It looks like it restarts explorer.exe forcefully so you don't want to run it while you are doing something important.

What happens if you manually restart explorer.exe from the task manager?

Does it restore the wallpaper? Will the issue still happen when you right click then?

Bionix made my icons flicker, but it didn't seem to have any effect after uninstall (I tried it only in a Win7 VM so far though).

And maybe you could try to run C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\wallpaper_engine\wallpaper32.exe as admin as well (only when it's fully closed though).

I have to check how the other desktop programs behave on Windows 10 later. Since you say that the sound is still there, I'm guessing the default wallpaper is drawn above the live one somehow.
