User Privacy?
First off, I think that this is a pretty neat and useful program! I haven't used it very much, but have already found some very interesting wallpapers. However, through my exploration, I have encountered some concerns. Do you have any type of privacy policy or other such document that outlines the type of data you collect, and if so, how is it used? I'm also interested in the whole sound recording functionality of some of the wallpapers, do you store and upload this audio anywhere? Thanks for any answers you're able to give me.

I don't think there is anything that is collected actually.

Possibly when your software is crashing and you would like to submit the dump file.

Though might be better to wait for Biohazard..

Thank you for your reply! Yeah, I figured there would be some stuff saved in dump files, but I meant more along the lines of saving information in the background, or other things that might be without the user's implicit consent. I'll be waiting for Biohazard's reply!

The program itself doesn't send or collect anything. The Steamworks SDK sends achievement data to Steam and such and "sometimes" uploads the .mdmp files (sometimes because it's buggy). Web and application wallpapers can communicate with the internet though, but web wallpapers can only access their own project data.

Okay, cool, thank you for your reply! As long as I don't have to worry about wallpapers recording audio in the background or anything, then that alleviates some of my worries, lol. Thank you for your help!
