Must Enable JIT

I can't open the wallpaper engine. I click on it or press launch, and it just tells me there's an assertion error and there is something blocking it, but I can't figure it out. What do I do? I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it didn't do anything. Here's what it says:

"Wallpaper Engine has crashed. Please make sure to read the FAQ on the forums because this might have been caused by another application.

This message came up after I tried to use my own wallpaper, then it crashed an when I tried to open it, it just gave me this message and it still gives it to me. But this message is only given when it gives me options of what to do. The options are: Abort, Retry, or Ignore. I try to retry, but it immediately tells me the app has an assertion failure and that I should see the visual C++ documentation on asserts.

Delete the config files, perhaps your wallpaper is corrupted, this will reset everything:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\wallpaper_engine\config.json
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\wallpaper_engine\config.json.bkp

Normally it should show a 'Safe start' dialog if you have broken files that are being loaded, deleting the config will also turn this dialog back on.
