Discord Icon
Hello iam quite new to all this and currently iam looking to make a simple "Yrden Sign Gif" for my discord icon. Yet i cant seem to get it right.
The pictures transparent backround dosent translate into the editor at all assuming its not supported.

Anyone familiar with any good Yrden Gifs or general advice/experience with making discord icons, thanks in advance.

I am a bit confused, part of your post sounds like you are trying to create a GIF and the other part sounds like you are trying to import a GIF. Wallpaper Engine definitely supports GIFs with an alpha channel (transparency) as a layer but other than that, Wallpaper Engine is not made for making exportable GIFs with an alpha channel or similar. Maybe elaborate on what you are doing exactly and what you want to achieve, it's not clear to me.

Apologies, iam trying to use wallpaper engines effects to create a gif out of a still image with tranparent background - however i once exported i end up with a grey-mush backround instead of transparancy.

Do you mean the transparency doesn’t work when putting the image in the editor, or when you record the editor to make a gif?

Creating any sort of background transparency is not possible with Wallpaper Engine because wallpapers cannot - from a technical point of view - have transparency. Wallpaper Engine is not a GIF creator so this is not possible. Transparency is possible on individual layers but if the base layer is transparent, Wallpaper Engine will place a gray background (by default) behind the GIF because there needs to be "something" at the bottom-most layer of the wallpaper.
