How do I assign a static color to the LED of my mouse with ICUE?
I made some wallpapers myself, and my mouse lights up in the colors of the wallpaper automatically (which is really cool). I'd rather choose a color myself though, is there a way to do that? I've tried with some code in the project.json file but I couldn't get it to work :( Seems like it should be possible, right?

Web wallpapers give you full control over iCUE devices, but scene wallpapers only copy the same image to all devices.

You can create a "solid" layer, set it to a color and then check the option "limit iCUE to this layer" in the very bottom right. This would make all devices have the same color, but you can't choose a device this way.

Thanks! Does this work for video wallpapers? I can't find the option to create a solid layer.

No, unfortunately only Scene and Web-type wallpapers can be controlled like that. Video wallpapers are just video files which do not allow for customization like that.

Okay, i understand. Thanks for the clear explanation! Could you maybe tell me one more thing? How does Wallpaper engine determine the color for the LED of the mouse?
Could i maybe change 1 pixel in the corner or something to be the color i want my mouse LED to be?

Depending on the number of LEDs they are just spread out or even use positions somehow provided by the iCUE SDK. There is no fixed position that is guaranteed to work, it may well change in the future too.
