Audio Visualizer stopped working
Hey. As I said in the title all audio Visualizers just stopped working. They used to work just fine like 5 hours ago. Now there's nothing. I don't have any of the problematic programs and it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ killing me. What the ♥♥♥♥ is going on? Can anyone help?

Make sure you haven't muted the program in the Windows mixer. That nullifies audio recording too.

If that's not it, please share this log, even when it doesn't immediately find the issue: https://steamcommunity.com/app/431960/discussions/1/3307213006836797842/

I double sanity checked if I had accidentally muted it, it isn't muted, so I guess that's not it. Here's the log https://pastebin.com/Vbwr7My2

Try specifically selecting the correct audio input device in the Wallpaper Engine settings (in the "General") tab rather than relying on the "default audio device" option.

I checked all the input devices and the only one that seems to work is my headset mic

Since you seem to have a USB wireless headset, it might be that something is wrong with its drivers if the microphone works but not the overall sound recording. Did you try restarting your PC since you have made this post? You can also try to simply restart Wallpaper Engine completely (right-click on the tray icon and then select "Quit", then restart it via Steam).

Be sure to select the correct audio input device again in the Wallpaper Engine settings afterwards.

It does seem to be the headset (which is weird since it worked without issue since I got wallpaper engine), I plugged in some 3.5mm headphones and voila. It works just fine. Restarting stuff was my first idea as well, didn't do anything. So I guess it is the headset?

I would recommend you just try to do a clean re-installation of your headset drivers. It's likely more the headset drivers rather than the physical headset itself. USB sound drivers are probably the most annoying and error-prone thing on the planet after printer drivers, but that's just my private opinion.
