that sucks. i guess the software is buggy. I've tried asking corsair for help on the problem, but no one have replied yet.

Hey, generally we only send the light data to iCUE without knowing what iCUE does with it. The fact that all your other devices work fine hints at the fact that this is some sort of issue in iCUE itself rather than Wallpaper Engine, as we really have no way to specifically tell iCUE things like "light up RAM modules" or something like that - it is all handled by iCUE.

Your best bet is to contact Corsair which you have already done. Feel free to keep us in the loop if they get back to you, I am definitely interested in knowing if you are able to solve this (or not). For the record, we have also been in touch with Corsair and their response times are kind of slow at times, so I would recommend to be patient for a while longer.

Definitely sorry about your issues, though!

On newer corsair devices, you have to go into the ICUE software, open settings select the device and then "enable full software control"

Correct, we have also learned about this in the meantime and added this to our Corsair FAQ:

Thanks a bunch, loonatic! This helped me. For the longest time my RAM sticks were cycling RGB and didn't change with the desktop theme, (even though the fans did) until I "enabled full software control" in iCUE.
