Can't return from Hibernation
When leaving Wallpaper engine running and hibernating the computer, it won't start up again. I can hear the post boot signal from the BIOS speaker but the screen stays black until eventually the PC automatically restarts with my previous session gone. This only appears to happen with another application focused, and the wallpaper paused. If I hibernate with the Desktop visible, it will return just fine. Looking at taskmanager it says the last BIOS time was 222 seconds. How do I fix this or access and error log that tells me what exactly causes it?

My graphics card is RX480 and I use Windows 10

I often also have problems with returning from Hibernation, never expected that it would be caused from Wallpaper Engine.

I will have to check that.

Win 10 1809, Geforce GTX 1070, Intel Core I7 5820K

You could start by running our scan tool and posting the log as described here:

Ignore the remarks about conflicts, the log file contains various other system logs which could help pinpointing this issue further.

Hm, I don't see anything suspicious on your system and you are the first person to ever report this kind of behavior. There is no good reason why Wallpaper Engine would cause your PC not to wake up from hibernation again, it could be that your graphics card driver is somehow messing up. I would recommend you try to download the latest graphics card drivers for your system here:

https://www.amd.com/en/support/graphics/radeon-400-series/radeon-rx-400-series/radeon-rx-480

And then first uninstall your old drivers completely before installing the new ones to make sure they are completely wiped and updated.

There are also a few crashes of your sound card drivers in the logs but I am not sure if that's related, it could be. Try to re-install the graphics card drivers first, though, from my experience it's usually the graphics card that messes up when it comes to hibernation.

I was already running the latest AMD drivers, however I didn't completely wipe the old driver when updating. I got an SSD and freshly installed windows on it, and the issue appears to be resolved. It might have been the fact that I didn't completely reinstall the graphics driver or (for some reason) the audio drivers. Everytime I used to return from Hibernation, I would have to restart the audio driver because I didn't have any sound, and this issue is now also resolved, so maybe there really was a connection there.
Anyway, The issue is resolved for me, and I appear to have been the only one experiencing it, so thank you for your investigation :)
