On the left side in the editor, right click the image and choose 'center'.

Then you can also right click and 'lock' it again because normally you don't want to move the background image so keeping it locked will help avoid moving it by accident.

Are you sure? I have looked at the wallpaper and you animated it correctly, the animation is just part of the background image, so it won't be affected by re-centering the image since it will move along with it.

You cannot open .PKG scene files in the editor, that would be like looking at an image and expecting that it comes with its original Photoshop project files, for example.

However, there is a community-made PKG unpacker tool which might work for you:

https://wetranslate.thiscould.work/scene.pkg/

However, we do not officially support it and will not help with any problems with that tool, you can try and contact the authors if you have issues with it.

I don't see where you can center it?

Nothing has changed, you still gotta click layer on the left side with right mouse button and hit center.
