Yo what happened to the search functionality?

It's not working well at all. Like you can type something very specific and it will just show anything that possibly has one of the words in it. I remember it working a lot better before. It's almost impossible for me to find stuff now seems like. Maybe it's always been like this and I just am misremembering but either way it'd be great if the search could be improved.

You need to put that into quotes because of the space in-between, that's just how Steam works with these searches.

The thing is the search functionality actually has relevance when you search for stuff directly through steam's workshop and not in the actual app. When you search in wallpaper engine it doesn't find anything relevant. Even stuff that has the searchwords in it won't show up it will just be a bunch of random things.

Edit: Though I will add that after trying using quotes as you suggested it did help a bit when searching in the app.

Wallpaper Engine uses the Steam Workshop search, the application uses what Steam offers for games / software. We have already complained to Valve about search relevance in the past and they have promised to improve it - other than that we are at the mercy of what Steam offers.
