Playlist wont play my sorted sequence
I made a playlist, and in the options i set it to sorted sequence every hour, and saved the profile. But the thing is, it doesn't do that. For example 9 o'clock is the one background, 10 o'clock the next and then 11 o'clock the one from 9 o'clock is back again. Does anybody knows how to fix it?

Are you maybe leaving the Wallpaper Engine window open? As long as the window is open, playlists are paused because otherwise you could not configured wallpapers properly.

No, I click oke when i'm done. It's only visible in system (backgound program)

Could you share the config.json from the wallpaper_engine directory by copy-pasting it to pastebin.com and putting the link here so I can have a closer look at it?

Hey, your settings seem fine, what happens when you manually try to advance the playlist by right-clicking on the Wallpaper Engine icon in the Windows tray in the lower right corner and selecting "Next wallpaper"? Does it properly move through the list there or does it also not work?

Oddly that works correct. Something wrong with the automatic system

Can you go into the settings of all of your playlists and set "Allow wallpaper to change while paused"? It's likely that you happen to be doing something which pauses playback and thus also pauses the timer. Alternatively, you may want to set some of your playlists to not be "on a timer" but rather "Time of day", maybe give that a try too to see if it matches your use case (that is personal preference, though).
I have same issue.. It worked fine before but now it picks random wallpaper when it's automatic even though I picked sorted. I tried to pick the same wallpaper then press OK and using Next Wallpaper works fine but when I restart program it picks random wallpaper..
Also, I have enabled "Allow wallpaper to change while paused" but it didn't change it even though it was paused and was time to change it, happens sometimes and it makes it de-sync from other monitor.

This is how it is supposed to be. If you close the program and start it again with a playlist it will not pick up where you left of because it was closed.

In general, the program does not store which wallpaper was auto selected before by a playlist. When the playlist is reset or you even reset the entire application, it will not pick up where it left of. But this is not the issue that the OP is describing as far as I can tell.

If you want to sync monitors you should use the 'clone' option. If you have two separate playlists, there is no link between them. If you open the browser and make changes to one playlist but don't change the other, then the changed playlist will reset, so they aren't expected to be in sync.

Shouldn't it be in sync when it's the same playlist on both monitors, same settings to be sorted and with option to change even if paused? When automatic change comes then first monitor picks correctly sorted and other monitor picks randomly and sometimes paused monitor doesn't change when times comes which is weird..

No, they aren't supposed to be in sync if the playlists are set up separately. This isn't possible to achieve for example because people want the playlists to continue running when they leave the browse window open and make changes. Or because of the automatic advance when a video ends: separately running videos cannot be synced so there's always a tiny difference that will stack up with each wallpaper.

If you do use the same playlist, you should use the clone mode. That will duplicate the image and sync monitors perfectly across all types of wallpapers.
