Wallpaper Engine need some time to load the wallpaper on PC start up/login
Every time turn on my PC and/or get my PC startup, Wallpaper Engine needs some delay time (5-10 second) to load the wallpaper. I already check the "start with windows" option and set the high priority. Is it normal or is there anything I can do to fix this?

Especially in high-priority autostart mode, Wallpaper Engine should start almost instantly. If it does not, it simply means that your computer is not fast enough. Most likely you have a lot of things autostarting in the background and your hard disk or processor is not fast enough to load everything so quickly. If you have an antivirus tool installed, it could also be that it first scans everything before letting it start, which may also slow down the startup time of Wallpaper Engine.

the only big apps that goes on while my pc startup is Steam and Internet Download Manager. I also have McAfee antivirus, is that would be the problem?? Thanks anyway

I really cannot remotely assess this, but yes, it is likely that the combination of those things simply cause the startup to be a bit delayed, especially if you do not have an SSD or a slower SSD hard drive.

Is there some way to have a wallpaper set as a background for windows in the case that wallpaper engine is not on? i don't like the black

You can just set a normal wallpaper through Windows and it will be shown whenever Wallpaper Engine is not active for some reason.

This may seem over-simplistic, but one of the best upgrades I made to my 2011 Windows 7 (currently running Windows 10) laptop was to replace the mechanical hard-drive with an SDD. It now runs amazingly fast and loads Wallpaper Engine just after the login screen. However, here are two things you might want to try:

1.) If you already have an SDD, make sure that you have Trim enabled.
2.) Check Task Manager's Startup tab and disable anything that you absolutely do not need running at startup... but make sure that wallpaper32.exe is enabled.
but my task manager doesnt show wallpaper32 in startup and trim enable for my m.2 will make its life shorter or harm it?
