Report a translation problem
If you cannot find this setting, download the latest drivers from the homepage of your graphics card vendor and perform a clean re-install (some drivers like Nivida's have a checkbox option during setup where you can select "Clean installation"). If the driver does not have an option for a clean re-installation, first manually uninstall your old drivers and then re-install the new ones.
The problem does not happen with VLC because VLC does not use hardware acceleration, but this is bad for performance.
