For me it doesn't open that window, then again I don't even see it in my autostart (task manager) either. Did you use the in-app feature "Start with Windows" to put it into autostart or did you add it manually? I used the former and it works seamlessly.
I tried autostart in the WE program and it didn't autostart at all. I then moved the shortcut into the startup folder where it ran perfectly and in high priority. Problem is, it then brought up this menu. I've restarted multiple times to see if it repeats and it does seem to. I can remove it from the Startup Folder again but then it won't AutoStart when I reset?
This is how I managed to get it to run:
1) I started by turning off AutoStart in WallpaperEngine. It wasn't working by itself.
2) Add WallpaperEngine32/64.exe shortcut to your shell:startup
3) Restart PC - Wallpaper.exe will start again but not quickly or in High Priorty.
4) Open Wallpaper32/64.exe & Turn On Autostart + High Priority (If wanted)
5) Restart PC - You should have WallpaperEngine.exe opening in High Priority but with menu.
6) Delete Shortcut from Shell:Startup.
7) Restart PC.
8) You should now have WE open as High Priority with no menu opening as BioHazard suggested.
I tried a whole bunch of variations on this and it would either not open Wallpaper Engine at all or it would open with the Browse Wallpaper Menu. The above for some reason got the WE's auto start option working on high priority on my PC when it wouldn't before? No idea what was going on there. It's like it needed to be prompted by the shell:Startup to take notice of WallpaperEngines option??
Thanks for the help poster + Dev above.
