wallpaper swap when main monitor disconnected?

i wanna make wallpaper engine swap wallpapers when a monitor is disconnected. example: monitor 1 is a waterfall and monitor 2 is a slideshow. when i disconnect monitor 1, monitor 2 becomes monitor 1 and has the wallpaper monitor 1 used (waterfall).

I tried messing around with the settings but when monitor 2 becomes 1, it keeps the wallpaper that the same monitor (2) used.

is there a way to make it work as i said in the example?

Set the option monitor identification to 'GDI'. This will remove the wallpapers/settings though, so you have to select them again.

The GDI option can be affected by Windows and driver errors more easily. If you update the graphics driver or if you extensively use sleep/hibernation then Windows might randomly swap and change the GDI names because it's broken, which results in wallpapers swapping or disappearing. (If that happens, a PC restart reverts the GDI names in Windows and therefore wallpapers too.)
