That driver is the right one, yeah - I think your driver installation might be completely busted now thanks to the broken driver before (at least some users on the Nvidia forum had trouble downgrading again). Did you restart the whole PC after installing 391.35?
I don't know anything about those.
Otherwise it could be worth asking here how to properly get 391.35 to install so everything works again: https://forums.geforce.com/default/board/33/ (Or you might find a thread about this similar issue since there are lots about the latest driver breaking things.)
I don't know the exact steps how to restore a broken graphics driver if it got that broken. Maybe you could try Nvidias hotfix 397.55, but I haven't even installed that myself because the latest driver versions are just full of problems.
