EDIT: I've tried all monitor identification types & none of them fix this issue.
Are you locking your computer and logging back in or are you restarting it/turning it off?
Only logging out of Windows and back in should keep the wallpaper though as long as the program isn't closed. Changing the 'display asleep' option to 'pause' may solve this although I believe it's supposed to work with any setting there.
Are there any plans to make it persistent or cache the timer/wallpaper after the program is closed?
