Question about gifs and particle system

Hi, i'm trying to use a gif in the particle system to get a specific animation, but the gif appears to be broken, jumping frames and all choppy, so my question is, are gifs broken in the particle system or there is a setting i need to tweak for them to work? Thanks!

Hey, GIFs do not work well in particle systems for technical reasons. The best approach is to cut your GIF up into a spritesheet and then use that just like in this tutorial video:
