Is there another method to save and share projects?
I been trying to fgiure this out. Checked some discussions and tutorials but to no avail.

1. Can anyone explain to me, if not already answered how do I change the formats to my projects to other file formats like jpeg, png, or mp4 files, etc.

2. Do I have to publish through steam? Some projects aren't for the open public and for personal rendering. Each time I go looking for the completed work save file I can't seem to find it or there's a bunch of .json files, suggestions?

3. Every time I complete a project or preview it the Wallpaper Engine Project removes my old wall paper and sets itself up as my primary wall paper. I tried changing it and in seconds kicks out the new/old wall paper and kidnaps my background. A little help?

Also Big thumbs up to Biohazard. Tried this and got use to it in a few hours of purchasing it. Kinda proud of what I made so far. The tutorials help boss, anyway to change how you save the formats so it doesn't have to be shared through Steam? Kinda got personal logos I'm designing but can't do cool things with them with out the right formats. Help Senpai this thing keeps stealing my SFV backgrounds!

1. The formats are not interchangeable. You could use the 'play in window' feature (right click the wallpaper in the browser and choose play in window) to record it more easily with OBS or any other program though and turn it into a video.

2 + 3. You don't have to publish it. I presume you are using the file -> apply wallpaper option in the editor to preview it? It will automatically apply it to the primary monitor, but yeah, you can change the monitor and then just select it there. In general, when you create a project, it will automatically show up in the wallpaper browser. The 'apply wallpaper' button is just a convenience function to instantly apply it to the primary monitor. Is this the info you were looking for?

Yes Senpai, sorry for the long response. Seems I'll be unable to distribute a few of my wall papers to none community steam with out figuring out another method as its something I trademarked and not wanted to distribute into open Steam yet. Not sure if ajson data converter exists its just doing this for my office space with a background logo and with no method to distrubte then having eeryone buy a copy of your neat program is well hard to convince. So I'll keep more freelance projects for this.

O.o I not need publish openly? And yes to the editor and yes to the auto thingy you just explained. You have answered my questions. Though now a new one stirs up. Is there way to distribute this wall paper to install or download to other computers with out buying another copy of this software? Also if I do publish it is there a way to secure/prevent open download and allow only select individuals? If not its cool still reading some of the advance techie stuff thingies... but still a cool software to make custom wall papers shame can't share wit de office guys,

You can share your own projects by copying the folder directly too (they are in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\wallpaper_engine\projects\myprojects). But the program needs to be installed on the PC to use them as wallpapers, yeah. And yes, you can choose 'friends only' when publishing it instead of 'public'. This is a Steam specific feature, the item will only be visible to your Steam friends.

You don't have to rebuy the program for multiple PCs, you can install it on them and use it without Steam. Though I would of course ask you to only install it on your own devices or the ones from your family if you only bought it once.
