Have you perhaps installed Windows or driver updates when this started to happen or do you remember anything else that might be related?

I have not downloaded any updates recently for windows or drivers. And all my drivers for my amd radeon are up to date.

Could it be that the amount of wallpapers I have downloaded making them all lag? Or that I am using 3 monitors and that if all 3 have moving wallpapers on them that they then all lag at the same time?

Have you been using the same wallpaper setup before and it was fine? Or is it a new setup with more expensive wallpapers? Some wallpapers are definitely more expensive than others.

Also, you could open the task manager and check for CPU/GPU/disk usage, maybe you notice anything off that occupies CPU/GPU/disk besides Wallpaper Engine.

I have been using the same wallpapers and it still lags. Also, if I click too quickly through the differnet wallpapers, it freezes and crashes. From my task manager, running 3 different wallpapers, my cpu is only at 4%, memory at 23%, and disk at 3%.

Is there a way to try to go back to a previous version of wallpaper engine to see if that will solve the issue?

There hasn't been an update for the program since a while, do you mean it started exactly after it was updated at the time?

Perhaps you could try this: http://steamcommunity.com/app/431960/discussions/2/1473095331509794520/

To all who is experiencing this problem, you just need to set the fps higher - as its probably set to 10 fps like mine was.

frans cs.money you are my hero. Just like he said, for everyone that is having this issue and don't have any dedicated graphic chip apart from your graphic card, the solutions is going to settings, and rising the fps bar. Mine was at 15 I didn't understand why my wallpapers were so laggy if my PC was working perfectly. I raised it to 60 and everything was smooth again!

Exactly This. My fps was set to 15 and all wallpapers were stuttering and I was wondering why every wallpaper is all leggy and that. I searched for solutions online but nothing worked until I come across your comment and changed my fps. Everything is working perfectly now. Thank you man I very much appreciate.

I ve got pretty good pc and my resources wasnt drained but still everything was extremly laggy. What helped for me was either to just reinstall the wallpaper engine from my D; drive to my system C: drive or to trun off Nividia share. I think it was drive problem but not sure. Hope it helps! :er_uwu:
