This program supports screen resolution 1280X1024?

but if you use a wallpaper that is not optimized for this res wallpaper engine will use a stupid amount of cpu usage.

Um, no, that has nothing to do with the resolution.

Maybe you picked a poorly optimized web type wallpaper, although there are just very few that are like that, or if you have this issue with all/many video type wallpapers, then your system has a problem with video hardware acceleration.

If you'd like us to help please create a thread for your issue and share links to the wallpapers that you have this problem with.
