I just checked and its "keep running". It doesn't happen every time, but it is common enough to annoy me. Do you have something in your mind i can try? Thanks for the answer!
- Change Wallpaper Engine to use the Nvidia GPU in the Nvidia Control Panel (it uses the Intel GPU by default, but you can change it there).
- Make sure the video has a reasonable size (~100MB).
- Try a different video decoder: http://steamcommunity.com/app/431960/discussions/2/1484358860951576217/
- Change 'other application maximized' to 'stop' which will completely reset the video and maybe that's faster than resuming the running video for you.
- Try setting the option 'video loading' to 'in-memory' to pre-load the video as a last resort.
There is probably a simple reason for the delay like the video being completely cleared from memory/VRAM because Chrome temporarily used it all up. But it's possible that one of my suggestions above make that less obvious.
