Video wallpapers freezing when alt-tabbing after long time.
Let's say i am on Chrome for 1 hour, when i return to the desktop, wallpaper freezes for good 2-3 second, then starts to work normally. I choose to "Pause" when other apps. maximized.

Freezing is normal? Or my end?

I have i7 5700HQ - 960M - 16GB Ram.

It should not take 2 - 3 seconds but there can definitely be a delay of around a second before the wallpaper continues playing if you set Wallpaper Engine to pause at certain times. Double-check your "Performance" tab settings and make sure it's not configured to pause when other applications are focused.

I just checked and its "keep running". It doesn't happen every time, but it is common enough to annoy me. Do you have something in your mind i can try? Thanks for the answer!

You could try these things, I think there is a good chance that one of them will help:

- Change Wallpaper Engine to use the Nvidia GPU in the Nvidia Control Panel (it uses the Intel GPU by default, but you can change it there).
- Make sure the video has a reasonable size (~100MB).
- Try a different video decoder: http://steamcommunity.com/app/431960/discussions/2/1484358860951576217/
- Change 'other application maximized' to 'stop' which will completely reset the video and maybe that's faster than resuming the running video for you.
- Try setting the option 'video loading' to 'in-memory' to pre-load the video as a last resort.

There is probably a simple reason for the delay like the video being completely cleared from memory/VRAM because Chrome temporarily used it all up. But it's possible that one of my suggestions above make that less obvious.
