Differences From DreamScene
I am on a Windows 7 PC, with which, using a simple Registry edit can re-enable Windows DreamScene which provides a similar functionality as this program seems to.

That being said, I have a few questions about this application in comparison to Windows Dreamscene.

Is this program less resource intensive than Windows DreamScene?

What video filetypes are supported by this app?

What is the renderer used; DirectX (Like VLC uses to project video into a desktop in the background)? OpenGL?

Are the interactive backgrounds 3D scenes... Or something else?

OpenGL, directx9 and directx11 (can be adjusted which of those you would like to use)

I belive there are Interactive 3d wallpapers, mostly web ones. But this software has many things to offer. It uses very little resources of your PC and can even be stopped when entering fullscree n of a game, an app is maximised or just focused on. usually a video wallpaper is about 1% when running on my laptop. but i've seen 1-2 where they take up like 27%. so it differs. but you can customise performance too, (anti aliasing, FPS, res etc.)

One of the biggest features is the workshop though where people are posting about anything. I'd take it anytime over dreamscene.
