Add Wallpapers

Is it possible to somehow just add an ordinary background which i downloaded to a playlist without uploading it on steam and whatsoever ? it cant be that hard to just simply add a picture to wallpaper engine

You can drag & drop files you downloaded into the browser, but there is no support for static pictures. Windows will always do a better job at that since it is integrated right into the OS and it will perform better.

If you want to mix images and videos in a playlist I can see that it would still be useful and I plan to add support for it. But in general, I can't recommend to use a program if you just want to set a static picture as your wallpaper, it will always need more system resources than the Windows background itself.
