I realize this might not be clear enough for 'questionable' cases, but I did not write these rules and I cannot change these rules, Valve owns Steam and Workshop. I tried asking them for more concrete examples of what is allowed and what isn't and they just linked me back to this again.
So the best I can suggest, if you're not sure whether it's acceptable or not, presume it's not acceptable.
This problem is escalating quickly and even if you can't do much about it, i think people would need a clear advertising popping when creating wallpaper that porn Isn't allowed on steam workshop.
I don't know how all this work, but do steam even sanction those people in some way ? (blocking posting of item in workshop for X days for example)
Wallpaper engine is really a great application i loved it the day i bought it, to the point that the lazy ass that i am even made a few scene ! i also recommended it to friends, but with how easy it is to get porn, i won't recommend it to any of my friends who got childs... (or don't want to get caught by cops as some of this porn wallpapers might be enough to get to jail in some country lol)
No one probably don't care of my life, but having an opinion is better than none at all i believe^^ continue your great work biohazard, i hope youll put some strong and visible advertising about this :p
Seriously though, the lack of ability to moderate the workshop from Valve's side is making it really hard for us. Though we ban countless of wallpapers daily, We have no option to ban a user from the workshop completely, set a specific time to ban them,or mass ban wallpapers outside the reported ones. The only way for Steam to take care of the user completely is by reporting the user through their steam profile.
