I had a wallpaper that never began to download so I eventually unsubscribed from it. Nothing happened, it didn't get removed from the list. So after waiting awhile I simply re-started Wallpaper Engine. This 5.3 GB "update" is what was presented to me and I had to wait for all 5.3 GBs to download so that the original 1.3 GB wallpaper would finish downloading so that I could unsubscribe from it. :|
So in other words, Steam's Workshop shat all over itself.
I only had this once myself when I crashed Steam forcefully, but I'm pretty sure other things can cause it too.
i tried clear downloads cache btw
This is a fault in Steam when Steam doesn't shutdown properly on your PC and Valve doesn't care about improving it.
