Wallpaper stopping
Sometimes the wallpaper stops moving and I have to restart Wallpaper Engine for it to move again. Do you guys know why and how can I solve it?

Was it perhaps happening when the displays went to sleep?

I don't think so. I think that it happens when I open some games, or maybe after playing them.

Hmm i'm having same problem especially after the recent little update. It started to constantly stopping when i open Discord. If i close Discord the wallpaper runs fine...

Can you try to use 'stop' for the fullscreen playback option?

There have been inexplicable issues with Discord before, although I could never reproduce them. Is the overlay excluded from all Wallpaper Engine files? Does it happen with all types of wallpapers?

What if you change all playback options to 'keep running'?

@Biohazard I never use the overlay within Discord (It does messes up a lot of games too so), and yes it happen to other wallpapers that im using now either web or video. Thanks for the quick reply!
EDIT: Ok i kinda fixed it, so my wallpaper engine used to run when windows starts. Now i have to run Discord first and then wallpaper engine, everything runs fine now.
EDIT 2: Sometimes it's still occasionally stopping by itself. I don't even running any apps except my music player...

Heavy videos can stutter (maybe stop) on weaker GPUs, is it maybe that?

Otherwise could you change all playback options to 'keep running'? This should help figuring out if it's auto pausing by mistake or if there is some underlying issue with rendering or so.

@Biohazard Yes i have a laptop GPU here (Switchable, already set it to power saving for WE). There wasn't any problem tho before the recent little update. Okay imma change all playback setting to 'Keep Running'. Hopefully this'll fix it. Thanks for the help again~

Actually there is a new battery playback option. Is that set to keep running (but okay, now it is)? That would be the most obvious cause.

I think I made it default to 'keep running' but maybe not...

Ok, I just noticed it stopped when I launched "Epic Games Launcher" (Paragon). I don't know if it only happens in that ocassion.

In the settings at the top. If you can't find it, can you show me a screenshot? It is only supposed to show up on laptops.

Can you upload the log.txt from the installation directory to www.pastebin.com ? I installed the Epic Game Launcher and signed in, but at least that far nothing happened, so I guess it is not a problem specific to that.

I reoppened it and just realised that it stopped when I launched Paragon (after launching Epic Game Launcher it still worked). After closing the game, it was still stopped, and if I open Wallpaper Engine again (without closing it first) it says "It seems Wallpaper Engine it's already being executed and it doesn't respond. Do you want to force reboot?" Which I usually click on yes and then works normally again.

Can you send me the log though? Which wallpaper were you using at the time?

This is probably a different issue than the picture freezing, can you send the crash dump (.mdmp) to wallpaperengine@gmail.com ?
