Wallpaper Engine
Filtering out Hentai/Anime
I mean seriously, it clogs up literally 95% of every page. When I bought this I did not realize I would have to sift through thousands of Hentai wallpapers to find an actual wallpaper I liked.

wow so sad is like rasism this one dear...
how about just remove the "cartoon" part i'm sure no one will like it or even the "game" section...
why u cry dear
agreed. Make a filter specifically to remove or add anime.
Where's the hentai? It's for research purposes ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Agreed. Too many hentai stuffs. I want to find some cool bgs, I found hentai. I want to find game bgs, I found hentai. Such a frustrating workshop.
In this thread: People that have no idea what the word "Hentai" means.

Use the built-in browser to exclude Anime and MMD.
I like hentaai
Yeah, I don't see any "remove anime and other useless pieces of sh:t" in the workshop.
I need to know how to remove it.

I know, that's exactly what i'm asking about.

Open Wallpaper Engine > click on "Workshop" on the top-left > click on "Filter results" > check the boxes for "Anime" and "MMD" until it turns red with a "minus" symbol.

This should exclude like 99% of the Anime content.

There seems to be a bug with that or something. I can set it to only show approved, as in the approved as a blue checkbox and everything else has a red minus, but it still shows things that aren't approved. Actually, even checking all areas as the red minus sign shows items.

Well....the expected outcome should be that there are 0 results. Because you exclude every tag :P

You enable ''approved'' but then exclude every wallpaper there is.... so I think that's why it just returns all the wallpapers.

What you want is to remove all tags and only set 'approved' to a + I think.

The Steam query is extremely primitive, the in-app has set the matches to 'or' while the website from Valve uses 'and' - if you know what I mean? I can only choose one or the other for the entire query to Workshop. And there are some wallpapers without genre or any tags, maybe those are returned now? Anyway with so many conditions 'or'd it will return garbage, yeah.
