How to screenshot?

I don't know how to screenshot my desktop because it is not a game, how do I do this?

Windows button+print is usually the combination for a screenshot.

My Steam's dedicated screenshot key is F12, which doesn't work. I pressed the Windows button and PrintSc, but it only darkens for a little bit. No screenshots are saved (nothing appears for it). The Steam screenshot feature can be found by right clicking the tray icon.

Print screen - button is universal, it copies a screenshot into your clipboard and you have to save it with paint/photoshop etc.

I don't see how I can upload a screenshot if there is no screenshot folder and I have to have one in order to upload the screenshot. Do you by any chance mean upload it to artwork? (I'm a little dense)

You're right clicking the Wallpaper Engine tray icon right (corner of taskbar)?

Once you've found it, if its still not working try restarting your computer (especially if you've just installed the software and ran it for the first time).
