How to achieve "Sharing is Caring" achievement

for taking a screenshot while Wallpaper Engine is active? I've taken many screenshots but it doesn't unlock for me

Have you used the built-in Steam screenshot feature? You can find it by right clicking the tray icon.

yeah I have it tied to my F12 key. But it wont work inside wallpaper engine, and when I use it in-game with wallpaper engine running, the achievement doesn't pop up.

When you open the game in the tray, click and then go to "take a screenshot".

Sorry, but I don`t get it. I go to the library, find Wallpaper Engine, right click on it, and a menu pops up. Yet, there is nothing related to screenshots on this menu. Where should I scroll down to?

Pressing F12 when in WE does not have any effect, so how am I supposed to make a screenshot that registers for this achievement?

It's in the menu of the tray icon in the task bar.

Sorry to be so difficult, I am sure I misunderstand something. When I right-click on the WE icon on my taskbar, I get the options "ui32.exe", "stick to taskbar" and "close window". Still nothing related to screenshots.

OK, nevermind. You said "tray icon", referring to the little arrow pointing upwards on the far right of my taskbar.

I suppose uploading to a public Steam account does not count as "sharing", but only sharing via Facebook?

You just have to click the screenshot entry in its context menu to trigger the achievement, you don't have to upload it.

I took a screenshot. The Steam Screenshot uploader pops up, showing me this screenshot. Where is the context menu at this point?

Well, unfortunately, it does not. I took a bunch of screenshots with that tray icon context menu. The achievement does not unlock. By the way, it would be a bit confusing if an achievement that is about "sharing" a screenshot is unlocked by taking the screenshot. Isn`t there another step?

I have uploaded the last one on my steam profile, so you can see that I have indeed a WE wallpaper on my desktop.

It needs to be a Workshop wallpaper like the description says, any will do, but wallpapers not from workshop don't count.

And yeah, I understand what you mean, but I cannot check whether the screenshot was actually uploaded since that happens inside Steam so I can't put any code there.

Biohazard, it is publicly visible on my profile. Why would you need to access the Steam code to check wether it has been uploaded?

Anyway, I now realize what my mistake was: I used one of the default WE wallpapers (Eagle Flag). I now chose one downloaded from the Workshop, took the screenshot from the tray icon context menu, and it worked. Thank you for your patient support.

Alright. I have to put the achievement into the program, that's all I meant, so you get it before actually uploading it.
