Conflict with EVGA software
Hey guys
Really like this but I've had to remove it as it said it was conflicting with my graphics card software from EVGA.
Even though it said there was a conflict I still ran the software but it nearly cooked my GTX980Ti as it interfered with the cooling fans, i.e. They just stopped responding.
So please please address this so I can use this software again.
Many thanks
Great product when all is ironed out (",)

The issue with EVGA Precision is, that it loads code into Wallpaper Engine which will make it instantly crash as soon as two wallpapers (multi-monitor) are running. It can be avoided though by excluding it in the EVGA software until EVGA excludes it by default.

I don't think that the EVGA Precision conflict causes any driver issues, do you also have other 3D hooks/OSDs installed? Because some may break even worse, but generally they always have exclusion lists for situations like this.

There's a sticky with more information on - short version of things, this is an issue with the EVGA Precision software trying to overlay onto everything.

No worries.

Also, it's REALLY not obvious on how to set-up exclusions.

You need to do the following:

1) Exit out of EVGA Precision.
2) Locate the folder where EVGA Precision is installed (C:\Program Files (x86)\EVGA\Precision XOC).
3) Run the executable "XX_PrecisionXServer.exe" - if it doesn't display, click on the new icon in the system tray.
4) That's the interface where you ADD applications that you want to exclude. You need to add the Wallpaper engine executables.
5) Now run EVGA Precision again.
6) Run Wallpaper Engine.

Should all be good now! :)
