Cannot connect to steam

been trying to connect my downloaded files onto the wallpaper engine but keeps saying cannot connect. Ive tried restarting and reinstalling. I cannot acess my downloaded wallpapers dispite being connected to steam and my internet is fine. Waste of money if not fixed.

Now there are currently no wallpapers not even the default ones. Re installed about 5 times and still no fix.

Reinstalling probably won't help, unless you have an anti-virus installed that possibly removed some files.

Do you have Steam running and are you logged into the same account that owns the app when you open the browse window?

I have fixed the issue by: changing updates to ' Only update this when i launch it' (in properties on steam)
As well as clearing my download cache in steam settings. please do let others know of this fix.

Great that you could figure it out, I guess it must be some weird Steam thing...
