How do i remove the cursor select box when dragging my mouse on the desktop?

You know that blue box that shows up when you click and drag on desktop, the one you select things with. I want to disable that or the visual at least for the wallpapers that i need to drag my mouse on. Windows 10 user.

I believe one trick is to quickly double-click and hold on the second click, then you can drag it around without the selection box appearing.

Just tried it and it works so thanks a ton but is there any way to do it for single click and drag.
